Goli Tech is looking for a AWS Python Cloud Engineer
Responsibilities This contractor will help build and manage the Data Catalog integration products. This contractor will be a developer and will be responsible for implementing, testing, and deploying the system. They will also need to analyze current state and collaborate on system design with the Tech lead. Designs, implements, and deploys cloud platforms to support and meet business needs. Identifies and recommends opportunities for improvement and performance issue solutions. Provides intermediate level technical support and monitors multiple cloud technology platforms efficiency using monitoring tools and applications. Maintains comprehensive technical knowledge of cloud software and infrastructure platforms. Develops technical standards. Tests and evaluates IT vendor products. Reviews configuration parameters to optimize system performance and maximize operation uptime Trains and mentors’ staff and IT project teams, providing guidance and consultation as required. Updates, writes, and maintains documentation for the department. Administers systems by actively managing patching, routine maintenance, and backups to include the scheduling and execution of related tasks. Evaluating system performance and capacity in a large, distributed infrastructure environment Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Experience: Minimum 5+ years of software development experience with 3+ years’ experience in AWS Cloud development. Programming/Development: AWS: CloudFormation, IAM, S3, EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, Athena, AWS Glue, CloudWatch, Redshift, RDS Scripting & Programming Languages: Python, Java, Spark, Bash Python Modules: Boto3, Pandas Experience with databases: RDBMS, Postgres, DynamoDB, Redshift Code pipeline: GitHub, Bitbucket, Bamboo Ability to write unit testing Logging & reporting Experience with any of the below technologies is an added advantage Amazon EKS and Kubernetes Microsoft Azure Cloud SQL & SNS Grafana Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud Required Skills : Python Basic Qualification : Additional Skills : Software Developer
