Talascend is currently seeking a Mobile Automation QA Engineer for a contract opportunity located in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey (On-Site) Duration: 9 months with possible extensions. OVERVIEW: Develop Automation Scripts to test Android Applications in Python/Java. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Project Specific Competencies: Essential Tools/Library Knowledge: Selenium, REST API, Appium (UI Automator), Cucumber/Gherkin, Jenkins. 6+ years of experience in development of Automation Scripts to test Android Applications. Experience in OMADM is preferred. Understanding of project core concepts in short time. Provide regular status reports on progress, documentation. Constant interaction with other development leads / peers and device leads governing new features/functionalities introduced. Core Competencies: Proactive, Independent, team player. Strong knowledge of Software QA Methodologies, Tools, and Processes. Good judgement. Good communication/listening skills. Productive and reliable. Work flexible work-hours. Ability to focus on meeting deadlines and deliverables. A keen attention to detail. OOB thinking and creative solution provider on test methods. Takes initiatives, proposes solutions, shares with others. Excellent test coverage of requirements including grey areas. Develop, document, execute, and maintain test cases/plans to address functional, user interface and regression testing. Ability to handle critical customer-facing issues. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field is required. #ind123
