Foxconn Industrial Internet is looking for a RF Field Engineer
Takes the lead on system commissioning, integrations, and activations. Performs system tests using scanners, spectrum analyzers, transmitters, and other RF equipment. Performs site surveys and in-depth walkthroughs. Works (hands on) with system components such as RF antennas, RF devices, Wi-Fi devices, fiber optics, coax, and RF amplifiers. Troubleshoots and repairs systems for optimal performance. Application of RF principles/theory (signal path, power, frequency, noise, modulations, etc.). Multi-tasks on projects on a day-to-day basis. Maintains test equipment and tools for continuous use. Travels to various job sites. Perform other duties as assigned. Education Requirements and Ideal Experience Includes: Minimum associate degree (preferably technical) with relevant coursework. 2+ years of related experience preferred (previous experience with RF architecture and other cellular systems). Knowledge of various wireless technologies (5G, CBRS, CDMA, WCDMA, GSM, LTE, etc.). Possess strong technical aptitude and the desire to learn and advance within a technical field. Comfortable working in high pressure situations. Ability to receive and give direction on an as needed basis. Knowledge of RF optimization techniques and best practices. Proficient in basic computer applications (MS Office, etc.). Must have a valid drivers license with reliable transportation. In addition, you should have the following characteristics: Self-motivated and have the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision and direction. Ability to work in groups. Passion for learning new technologies. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal English communication skill.
