Position Title: Service Engineer Location: Montgomery, AL Work Environment: Onsite Position Status: Contract to Hire Shift: 6pm-6am Salary: $30-33/hr Position Description: We are accepting applicates that have experience as a Service Engineer. The position requires candidates to be licensed as a journeyman and have the ability to work independently. Requirements: Journeyman license Experience as a Commercial and/or Industrial Electrician. Available to work overtime as needed. Outstanding troubleshooting skills. Excellent customer relationship and communication skills; verbal and written. Certified to operate a BOOM or scissor lift, and ability to work at heights. Has basic hand tools, PPE, and reliable transportation. Able to pass drug and background screening. Responsibilities: Inspect and test electrical components to diagnose problems, repair broken electrical components, and install updates for outdated electrical systems in an industrial setting. Troubleshoot electrical problems and install new wiring or other components to fix lighting, fuse boxes, and generators in a plant environment. Conduct tests to ensure all newly installed electrical systems and component devices are operational. Ensure electrical systems meet local, county, state, or federal codes; legal and/or insurance requirements. Adhere to all required project safety requirements as set forth by Wachter, our customers, or OSHA.
