The position involves work in a dynamic environment supporting requirements, design, build, integration, test, certification, and lab operations. Responsibilities include command and telemetry software and alarms, anomaly troubleshooting, lab configuration, and end-to-end data collection oversight. – Some second shift and weekend work required and potential for some travel. – Typically has a bachelors degree from an accredited college. Basic Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or related technical skills and experience · Background in software and/or analyzing data via school projects, internships, or other experience Desired skills · Experience with Linux operating system and scripting languages · Software and network systems experience (Solaris, TCP/IP networking, C & Perl programming) · Familiarity with telemetry encoding/decommutation/extraction · Familiarity with spacecraft command and telemetry processing and command and control systems · Familiarity with hardware/software troubleshooting · Familiarity with mechanical and electrical engineering · Demonstrated behaviors of a systems problem solver; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very complex problems and implement constructive change · Demonstrated ability to report hardware/software issues and provide status through clear written and verbal communication · Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks and to deliver products on schedule · Ability to proactively identify the root cause of issues and drive to closure · Ability to lead troubleshooting activities with a sense of urgency to maintain an operational environment for the lab users · Proven track record to work in a synergic, team-based environment · Familiarity with Lockheed Martin processes and procedures · Familiarity with Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) · Electrical Connector (mate/demate) experience · Automation Framework experience · SAP/VECAMS experience Virtual no Zip 80125 EEO Lockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
