As a user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) strategist, you put yourself in the users place to understand the best ways they can engage with the system. In this role, youll collaborate with software engineers and product managers to understand your clients vision and their users needs. Working on an Agile team, youll act as a storyteller, translating research into actionable user insights. Youll lead the full spectrum of the digital creative process, including information architecture, rapid prototyping, interface design, usability testing, and product implementation and development. Your experience with usability design and testing, and product implementation and development will help you advocate for the prioritizations of design-centered changes, refinements, and improvements while keeping the end-user at the center of your work. You will work with analysts and stakeholders to understand what they do or do not like with existing implementations, how to support current and future analytic tradecraft, and begin designing and producing mockups that incorporate their feedback, accessibility requirements to improve end user experience, standardize the look and feel, and modernize capabilities. You Have: 6+ years of experience with user interface design, including web based applications Ability to work with analysts and stakeholders to develop product roadmaps TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph HS diploma or GED Nice If You Have: Experience with building executable mockups and PowerPoint storyboards UX certification, including NN/g, HFI CUA, and HFI CXA certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individuals particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allens total compensation package for employees.
